Information about times of new moons in March and April around 30CE, provided by Her Majesty’s Nautical Almanac Office in the United Kingdom, show that a Wednesday crucifixion was not possible in 31CE, and could have occurred only in 30CE.
We are indebted to Her Majesty’s Nautical Almanac Office, the Mount Stromlo Observatory in the Australian Captial Territory and the US Naval Observatory in the USA for the precise astronomical data provided to us.
