Welcome to the Christian Churches of God
The Christian Churches of God (CCG) is a global organization with conferences in Australia, North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. CCG is the largest of the modern branches of the Church of God and imparts the end time message of Scripture.
CCG follows the original doctrines of the Church founded by Christ and the apostles. These doctrines are contained in the Statement of Beliefs of the Christian Faith (A1) which is held in agreement by all members.
CCG keeps God’s original Holy Day sequence in accordance with God’s calendar and is recognized as a world authority on the ancient temple calendar system (see God’s Calendar (No. 156). It keeps the Sabbaths, New Moons and Feasts of God in accordance with the conjunction system as it was kept in the First Century Church and the Temple.
The Constitution of the Christian Churches of God explains the purpose, structure and administration of the Church.
CCG is dedicated to providing well-researched, scholarly Bible study papers which outline the original faith of the Christian Church as taught by Messiah and the apostles. The Christian Churches of God also publish details of the Genetic Origin, the History of the Nations and the History of World Religions.
CCG teaches that there are only two sacraments given by the Messiah (see paper The Sacraments of the Church [150]). These sacraments are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
The Apostles tell us that the Bible is of no private interpretation. The Bible explains itself and its prophecies. Our task is to make sure it is viewed in the correct historical framework to understand the original meaning of each prophecy. There was no Sign given to the world except for the Sign of Jonah and that sign covers all texts and prophecy. See Sign of Jonah… (No. 013) and Completion of the Sign of Jonah (No. 013B)
All CCG Bible study literature is available for download in both HTML and MS Word formats (go to Bible Study Papers). These Bible study papers are provided without charge. The publishing arm of the church, CCG Publishing, makes available important reference works that are of interest to people studying or learning about religion and religious history. Many books published by the CCG and others are available for free in the CCG Book section of this website.
CCG holds the doctrines common to the faith over the two thousand years since Messiah and the apostles which cover many church eras (refer to paper The Role of the Fourth Commandment in the Historical Sabbath-keeping Churches of God [170] ).
The Christian Churches of God Bible study papers and religion history papers are being made available in the major trade languages of the world. These papers are available at the Christian Churches of God Multi-Language Site.
CCG is controlled by Executive Committees elected from its members with General and Area Coordinators elected for general management in accordance with its constitution. The national elders make up the Board of Elders in the World Conference assisted by the General Secretaries. It has a number of churches in association with it.
CCG has no people paid to be ministers or priests. Its employment is task oriented. Ministers may be employed but if so they cannot be on the governing bodies of the church. Missionary activity is undertaken at the direction and coordination of the World Conference.
The CCG logo and flag are symbolic of the beliefs that the CCG hold. For more information on the CCG logo and flag click here.
The CCG is led by elected officials and the details of the Elders and Deacons are described in the CCG Officers pages. You can also find details of our media presenters here.
