New Moon and Sabbath Message

Dear Friends,

Today is the New Moon of the Sixth Month. This month saw the last of the ascents and descents of Moses up Sinai to speak with the God of Israel who gave him the Laws of God in preparation for the Feasts of the Seventh Month (see Ascents of Moses (No. 070)). The paper we are to study today is Commentary on the Gospel of John Part 3 (F043iii). Over the three parts of Phase I we see the declaration of the Pre-existence of Jesus Christ (No. 243) and Christ’s position as the Subordinate God of Israel (Ps. 45:6-7; Heb. 1:8-9 (No. 177)) and his position in interacting with the Patriarchs and Prophets in giving the Law and the Testimony to Israel on bringing them out of Egypt (Acts 7:30-53). It was Christ who fed Israel on the Manna and was the being who gave them water from the Rock in the wilderness (1Cor. 10:1-4).  Christ was king over all Israel and not just Judah and those details are discussed with Israel’s locations today.

What will follow is part IV and Part V and then the Harmony as Part VI. In Parts IV and V we will discuss Christ’s Statements regarding the Father being the One True God who sent Jesus Christ and understanding that fact, and knowing the two entities is Eternal Life (No. 133). It is the failure of the Churches of God over the last eighty years to understand that fact and their Ditheism (No 076B) or Binitarianism and Trinitarianism (No. 076) that has consigned the Churches of God to the Second Resurrection  (No 143B);. And even now they still do not get it.
